My First Blog

This is my first post on my first blog. Please be gentle.

I'm leaving in four days for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and I'm so excited (and nervous). I'm doing an 18-minute spoken word show-in-progress called Part-time Rock Start about being a spoken word performer among other things. Wish me luck.

I'm nervous because the show is made up of almost all new stuff that I really haven't had a chance to read out yet, so I'm not sure - it can be awesome or it can totally suck, but I guess that's the way it is with writing. I'll be performing with Short Fuse.

I hope to keep up this blog as a way to track my Edinburgh experience. We'll see how well I do!
