friday

I was away from the computer most of yesterday so I wasn't able to post. I woke up Thursday morning, as I usually do, with the BBC news piping through my clock radio. Word that bombs had gone off in London intermingled with my dream until I finally woke up and realized that it had actually happened. I was quite worried about my friends, but I've heard from most of the London folks and everyone is all right. What a crazy world we live in.

Today is quite dreary and cold for July. I'll be in New Jersey this weekend visiting my mom, which is a dreary concept on it's own. Not necessarily my mom, but New Jersey and her retirement community in particular.

I'm hoping to get some work done while I'm down there, so we'll see.
