humid, but still a lovely day

The day started off in a lovely way - N treated me to a back massage and cooked the most delectable spinach and mushroom omelette I have ever had.

Unfortunately, there was no time for lolling around the house as I was off to meet one of my writing groups. Following this, I interviewed Thad Rutkowski about his new novel Tetched. The interview should be out in Small Spiral Notebook soon.

Afterwards I headed up to the Bronx to visit my brother and his girlfriend who are expecting their baby boy any day now. We three had dinner and lounged around the air-conditioned apartment watching episodes ofCurb Your Enthusiasm - which is incredibly hilarious - on HBO on Demand.

Tomorrow is a day off which will hopefully be spent writing my little fingers off.
