sit-down

Last night, I went to see Desiree Burch's one-woman show Sit-Down at Galapagos. Had a great time. Desiree is one of the most dynamic writer/performers I've encountered in a long time. The show involved video, music and multiple costume changes and I left feeling really inspired.

Afterwards, went to Planet Thailand where I had dinner with N, her roommate and her little brother who is visiting for the week. Also, a great time. N got a new tatoo yesterday afternoon which she surprised me with last night. Dinner was yummy and fun and it was good to meet the brother and finally meet the roommate. I wish there was a more direct subway route from Williamsburg to Sunset Park since it took me over an hour to get home. Luckily though, I slept through the night so I'm feeling better today.
