gadget rebellion

Still no news on my computer, but I've begun to put my writing life back together on my old dinosaur of a laptop. Yes, I am backing everything up - on floppy disk. Before this computer meltdown, I hadn't touched a floppy disk in a few years. Luckily, I found a few spare in a drawer. Oh, and I'm pretty sure my cell phone has died. It was on it's last legs, but still it seems like my appliances are rebelling against me. I've ordered a new one and should have it this week, before I find out about the laptop I'm sure.

But, all this electronics nonsense is really nothing. My thoughts are with those in the South. I've only been to New Orleans once but I remember thinking it was the most unique place I'd ever been.
