happy birthday dear atomic reading series

Last night's one-year anniversary reading was an amazing affair. The room was just PACKED. I've never seen it so full! I think that article in the Park Slope Reader really must have helped. The audience rocked. They were attentive and obviously there to have a good time. My three fellow readers were all fantastic and it felt good to finally read my "memoir of meow mix," which seemed to go over well.

Afterwards, a bunch of us headed over to the heir of Meow Mix, Cattyshack, and sat on the lovely roof deck.

Today is another day off. Although it sucks that I'm not going on a real vacation this summer, it's nice to only have to work 4 days a week through October!
