I had a very mellow weekend which included both of my writing groups, a ton of housework, lots of DVD watching, reading and a wedding shower yesterday afternoon.

I've been to a lot of weddings, but never before to a shower. We played a game where we had to divide into teams of three and make a wedding dress out of white tissue paper and ribbons. This was more fun than I thought it would be. We wound up dressing our model bride with a Bacchus-inspired grape-and-wine-cork adorned ensemble complete with multi-layered bustle. I was quite proud of the creation, but forgot to bring my camera.

Today, I am struggling with the PMS at the day job. Boo.
