tiny headache

I've had a tiny but very potent allergy headache all day. It's right in middle of eyebrows, emanating down through my nose. Advil seems to do nothing for it and my eyes are sort of watery. I guess it's that time of year.

I finished my piece for tomorrow night. I'm afraid it's not laugh-out-loud funny, but I hope it's at least mildly amusing. It's just a short prose piece culled from my essay in the forthcoming Coming Out of the Closet Again which I thought was pretty appropriate for the show's topic.

And I do believe I'm starting to get my mojo back, at least with the writing. After all the setbacks of the past few months and the general stagnation of both my work and life in the past few years, I'm more determined than ever to finish my book and try to publish some of the other pieces that I've been sitting on for over a year. I'm giving myself a goal of my birthday (in Septmeber) to get a draft of the book finished. I think I can do it, actually I know I can, it's just a matter of getting it done.

As for the love life, I guess I just have to leave that up to the goddesses (or whomever is in charge of such things). I could also leave my house more and actually talk to people when I go out, that may help as well.
