Hip-hop - the ultimate fusion of contemporary music and theatrical performance.
Learning how to create and use this style of writing in theatre is not as intimidating as it may seem. Dyalekt (featured in the documentary Freestyle) , and Claudia Alick (HBO's Def Poetry Jam, producer of Sick Rhymes in The NYC Hip-hop Theatre Festival) and a special guest instructor will teach you everything you need to know about integrating hip-hop Music and culture, freestyling, beatboxing and poetry into effective productionnumbers. A hands-on adventure in writing and performance, you will leave with your own Original material and a new set of skills!
