We will learn from poems by great bards including Keats, Walt Whitman, Sappho, Mary Oliver, Langston Hughes, Allen Ginsberg, Charles Bukowski, Ann Carson. The instructor offers written commentary on all work and we share and discuss our writing. Develop and refine your individual poetic voice using in-class exercises and homework assignments.
