the wonders of june

Okay, It's only the end of June and already I'm sick of the summer heat. The humidity has my hair looking like it's been through a crimper one time too many and my skin feels all greasy. I'm also pre-menstrual which just adds to the general annoyance.

I'm currently working on a short article, an author interview and an essay. As always, I can't concentrate on just one piece of writing at a time. Hope to finish one of these soon.

Looking forward to the upcoming long weekend and my ensuing vacation days which I am spreading out over the course of the summer so I'll only be working 4 days a week. So, I'm hoping to get into some sort of regular writing schedule. Also, no ATOMIC this month but we'll be back in August for our first anniversary.

This month has been really interesting. It began with Nathan's super-fun, super-busy visit, the two poetry shows, publishing news which I promise I will announce soon, the appearace of the awesome Reactions 5, lots of fun with some of the greatest friends I could ask for and a flirtation that has grown into six very fun dates...

Phew! No wonder the heat is getting to me.
