I'm not big on fireworks and barbecues but I managed to have a fabulous July 4th. I spent most of the day being very productive working at home, then ventured out to a Brooklyn roof-top party to join N and a group of excellent, scantily-clad partiers. We watched the fireworks from an extreme distance which is the best way to enjoy them if you ask me. There were lots of yummy grilled vegetarian offerings. And a Twister board was out on the roof but with no takers. Line dancing seemed inevitable and did rear it's head later on in the evening. And I got to make out under the stars. Sigh.
