I'm so glad it's a long weekend.

I got out of work early yesterday and did something I rarely do - went to the U. Square Green Market. I picked up a bunch of yummy vegetables, fresh eggs, cheese, bread and very beautiful sweet cherries. All for less than my usual trip to my local supermarket and I bet the veggies won't go bad in one day. I think I'm going to make the Green Market a habit this summer.

It's really hot in my apartment. I just bought a new "tower fan" which gives me a total of 4 large fans in my apartment. Still, I think I my need something stronger.

Also, the cats are shedding non stop and I can't keep up with the cleaning! I can Swiffer the entire house and 10 mins. later there's cat hair everywhere again.

Tonight, it's Cattyshack where I will meet up with some very awesome friends and have my 7th date! I'm looking forward to going out - just have to figure out what to wear.

I very literally have a pile of work to do on my desk, so I'm going to get to it.
