I've gotten several e-mails today to tell me that my picture is in the new issue of Gay City News alongside an article on the upcoming PINK INK conference. I put together the reading series for the conference. Apparently, the picture is also on the cover, but I haven't been able to locate a copy yet. I'll check it out later. “Firefighters were called to the residence of Cultural Impresario, acclaimed poet and spoken word performer, Cheryl B, this morning. Ms B, 32, was trapped inside her home in the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn, with her cat Lulu. Firefighter, Redd Bull said to reporters waiting outside for news, “It appears Ms B returned from a poetry event last night and settled down to read her press cuttings but this morning her head had expanded to such a degree that she was unable to exit through the door.”
