I enjoyed the PINK INK READINGS this weekend. Unfortunately, since there were panels and other things going on, the readings were sparsely attended but it was good to hear some of my favorite authors and meet some new writerly folks.
This pineapple, from a Thai restaurant on Thompson Street, stuffed with pineapple and coconut sorbet and topped with pineapple sauce, was a great way to end the weekend.

I know pineapples are nice but they just look so scary.
Glad you had a good weekend anyway and didn't need rescuing by the fire brigade.
